The initiative is intended that each blog to explain the reasons why science does not need scissors. But I wonder do we need to find a reason? Or an excuse? We're talking about science! We are talking about what brought us out of the Middle Ages! We are talking about what makes us progress as a society and achieve better standards of life!
should not have to explain why the budget for science does not need scissors, but unfortunately true. Unfortunately where the minimum is reduced budget is under investigation. It is not in weapons or money given to the church. No what is on subsidies that are given to the cinema, or what is spent on big events. Science is reduced.
born 400 years ago Galileo Galilei and therefore this is the international year of astronomy . But Galileo was not only the first astronomer, was also the first modern scientist. It seems that 400 years is not enough to realize how important it is science.
