MADE II CONGRESS OF WOMEN

WITH DISABILITIES

In order to promote the implementation of public policies for women with disabilities, the Ministry of Women and Social Development through the National Council for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities, CONADIS, held the II National Congress Women and Disability "A gender equity and inclusion." . Involvement of different sectors of civil society being made by the employment of women with disabilities.

• As a result of the Second Congress is that at least three public or private institutions are committed to working with women with disabilities.

• Identify socially responsible businesses that have been working with women with disabilities.

Historically the difference between the human race has been strongly marked from the beginning of the social, economic and political. Achieving inclusion of women with disabilities is a challenge for society, more so in the employment context, so much so that within the millennium development goals, developing a draft United Nations (independent advisory body which drew up a concrete action plan for the world to reverse the absolute poverty, hunger and disease affecting billions of people), is aimed at promoting Gender Equality and Empowerment of the women.
